Leon Graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2016, after that he continued with his
studies to gain a postgraduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University
of South Wales (2017).
Leon started at Osteopathy and Wellbeing soon after graduating in 2016, since then Leon
has gained invaluable experience treating a wide variety of patients with a wide range of
complaints. Leon is experienced in providing safe and effective treatment plans specific to
the individual (one size most certainly does not fit all). He is also a qualified sports massage
therapist and able to provide dry needling when and where appropriate.
As well as his work in private practice Leon provides pitchside support for Canterbury rugby
club. He also has a wealth of experience in Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEM) and thus is
extremely competent in the diagnosis and management of sports injuries. He has provided
support to a number of competitive sports teams at community, county and international
levels. He is a member of the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine and believes
everyone can take simple steps to improve their health with increased physical activity.
He is keen to point out that SEM is NOT exclusive to individuals who participate in sports. Sport and exercise medicine is relevant in all aspects of life and a key component in recovering from illness, injury, surgery or just part of your everyday well-being.
After leaving school Leon trained as an audio engineer and is still involved with providing support to film and music students at Christchurch University. Nicknamed hobby horse Leon has many hobbies, he dabbles in electronic music production, a hi-fi geek and believes he is handy in the kitchen. He also very much enjoys running and cross-country cycling.
Guilty pleasure…loves a bit of coronation street…Watching test cricket for days on
end….Loves red wine (in moderation of course)!
Sporting clubs Leon has worked with (mostly Rugby)
